Allied Shortlisted for Two Glasgow Business Awards

Allied Vehicles Group is celebrating after being shortlisted for two prestigious Glasgow Business Awards 2026.

The company has been named as a finalist in the Best Large Business category, while Pranav Sharman, Sales Director at Allied Vehicles Group, has been shortlisted for Young Business Person of the Year. The awards are organised by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and recognise the organisations and individuals making a significant contribution to the city’s economy, innovation and growth.

The Glasgow Business Awards, now in their 28th year, celebrate excellence across Glasgow’s business community, highlighting organisations that are investing in their people, supporting their communities and driving economic success. Winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Thursday 1 October 2026.

Being shortlisted in the Best Large Business category reflects Allied Vehicles Group’s continued commitment to growth, innovation and delivering positive outcomes for customers, colleagues and communities. The recognition follows another successful year for the business, which continues to strengthen its position as a leading provider of wheelchair accessible vehicles, vehicle conversions and mobility solutions across the UK.

The Young Business Person of the Year shortlist recognises the city’s emerging business leaders, and Pranav’s nomination highlights the impact he has made within Allied Vehicles Group and the wider business community. Through his leadership, strategic insight and commitment to continuous improvement, Pranav has played an important role in supporting the group’s ongoing success and future growth plans.

Commenting on the news, Pranav Sharman said:

“I’m honoured to be shortlisted for Young Business Person of the Year. This recognition is really a reflection of the talented people I work alongside every day at Allied Vehicles Group. We’ve achieved a great deal together, and I’m excited about what the future holds for both the business and the city of Glasgow.”

Allied Vehicles Group Chief Executive Peter Facenna added:

The Glasgow Business Awards celebrate the depth, ambition and innovation of Glasgow’s business community and recognise businesses that are helping to shape the city’s future.
