Allied Vehicles Group is committed to excellence in all that we do. As such, we engage with a number of widely recognised accreditation schemes and membership associations which assist us in pursuit of our goals.
ISO 9001 Quality Management
ISO 9001 is part of the world’s most widely recognised quality management kitemarks. As such, it reflects our commitment to delivering:
- Consistently high quality products, which meet the particular needs of our customers
- Prompt and efficient services, carried out fully and correctly first time
- First class customer care, dealing with customers openly, courteously, quickly and effectively
To achieve this, we have reviewed and documented the way in which we provide our services to ensure that all our staff understand our customers’ needs and expectations, as well as the company’s aims and objectives and are able to work consistently to our operational standards. All staff are committed to providing consistently high quality products and services, believing these to be in the best interests of our business, our customers and each of us as individuals.
To ensure the effectiveness of our quality management system we undertake, at least annually, a review from which we prepare a Quality System Plan, which sets out our broad strategy for quality and identifies specific objectives we wish to achieve within the period. We address issues such as present and future customer requirements, service levels, communications, operational improvements, relationships with our suppliers and the resources required to maintain and improve the quality system.
Where appropriate we detail how our objectives will be achieved and how progress will be monitored and reviewed. Subsequently, where discrepancies are identified between planned and actual results, we investigate these and put appropriate corrective or preventive actions into place.
In order to provide additional customer confidence, our management and operational systems are designed and documented to meet the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Systems. These are verified by BSI which is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service to assess systems and issue Certificates of Registration.
We trust that all our customers will find the quality of our products and our levels of service to match or exceed your expectations.

- Challenge attitudes towards disability
- Increase understanding of disability
- Remove barriers to disabled people and those with long term health conditions in employment
- Ensure that disabled people have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations
Automotive Technician Accreditation
Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) is a national programme designed to test the current competence of motor industry technicians throughout the UK. The scheme, which is regulated by the Institute of the Motor Industry, also encompasses commitment to an ethical code of conduct. Allied Vehicles supports the ATA programme as part of our commitment to continuing professional development for our staff and to ensuring that essential skills are always kept up to date.
- Evidence of professional responsibility and professional competence
- Independent quality assurance
- Confidence that your car or van is in safe, qualified hands
As ATA registered technicians each of our service centre staff must pass a comprehensive and detailed set of tests of their practical knowledge and skills. Our technicians are re-assessed every five years in order to keep their skills up to date with technological advances and to maintain their ATA accreditation.
In addition, our mechanics and technicians have signed and are bound by the ATA Code of Conduct. The Institute of the Motor Industry maintains a complaints procedure for ATA approved technicians, in order to maintain the integrity of the award and to ensure that its bearers merit the status conferred by this demanding accreditation. Our approved technicians each hold a photo identity card, issued by the Institute, so that you can be confident of their credentials.
