We’re delighted to share that our Technology Director, Steven Faull, has been recognised among Scotland’s leading cyber professionals as the winner of Cybersecurity Leader of the Year 2026 at the prestigious Scottish Cyber Awards.
Held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the awards brought together the very best of Scotland’s cyber community, highlighting innovation, leadership, and the vital role cybersecurity plays in protecting organisations, communities, and national infrastructure.
Now in its eighth year, the event continues to be a cornerstone of Scotland’s digital landscape, celebrating individuals and teams who keep the country resilient in a rapidly evolving threat environment.
Steve’s shortlisting in an extremely competitive category reflects his exceptional leadership, deep expertise, and unwavering commitment to strengthening cyber resilience across our organisation. Judges praised the high calibre of entries this year, emphasising the depth of talent across Scotland’s cybersecurity sector.
His nomination not only recognises his individual contribution but also highlights the impressive progress our technology and security teams are making to embed a strong cyber‑secure culture across Allied. This includes advancing secure systems, driving best‑practice behaviours, and supporting colleagues across every department to stay secure online.
Steve’s recognition stands alongside Allied Vehicles’s own nomination in the Cyber Culture Award, further demonstrating the organisation-wide commitment to safeguarding colleagues, customers, and partners.
Speaking about the achievement on LinkedIn, Steve said: “Delighted to have won the Cybersecurity Leader of the Year at the Scottish Cyber Awards 2026 last night. A massive testament to all the fantastic work by everyone at Allied Vehicles Group to keep our systems, data, and customer data safe and secure”.
As Steve joined peers from across Scotland at this year’s awards ceremony, the event served as a reminder of the critical role cybersecurity leaders play in protecting organisations like ours. Whether responding to evolving threats, delivering strategic improvements, or empowering teams through awareness and training, Steven continues to set a high standard across our industry.
