The Allied Vehicles football team secured a whopping 7-3 victory over a star-studded River City & Friends side in a charity match held at Glasgow Perthshire FC on Sunday, September 13th. The event brought together employees, actors, musicians and local personalities to raise funds for the Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund, a wonderful charity supporting children and families affected by cancer.
Facing off against a team packed with familiar faces from hit BBC soap, River City, Allied Vehicles produced a strong and determined performance, finding the net seven times to claim a memorable win.
The River City & Friends team battled hard throughout the afternoon, scoring three goals of their own and helping create an entertaining spectacle for supporters.
The match was organised to raise funds for the Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund, with proceeds from ticket sales supporting the charity’s work with children and young people affected by cancer.
The afternoon also featured entertainment and community activities, helping to create a positive atmosphere both on and off the pitch.
While the final score saw Allied Vehicles emerge as convincing winners, the real success of the day was the support shown for a worthy cause.
Players, organisers, volunteers and spectators all played their part in making the event a memorable occasion and helping raise awareness and funds for the charity.

A huge well done to everyone who helped make the event possible, and especially the superstars of Teams Allied and Team River City & Friends!
