Colleagues from Allied Mobility and Mobility Solutions were among thousands of participants and supporters who came together for this year’s Superhero Tri powered by Marvel event – the UK’s only mass-participation sports event dedicated to people with disabilities and long-term health conditions.
Held in August, the event marked its 10th anniversary and once again delivered a day packed with fun, achievement, community spirit and some truly excellent costumes!
The Superhero Series challenges perceptions and creates lasting memories, giving participants of all ages and abilities the opportunity to take part in inclusive sporting challenges, either individually or as part of a team, where everyone can be a superhero.
Representing Allied Mobility at the event were Karen Meen, Monique Thompson, Ben Jenkins, Aileen Reilly and John Eden. Joining them from Mobility Solutions were Sarah Butler and Richard Coleman.
Throughout the day, the team met participants, families and supporters, while celebrating the determination and positivity that have made the Superhero Series such a popular fixture in the disability sport calendar.

It was inspiring to see so many people come together to take part, creating an incredible atmosphere filled with fun, laughter and, of course, capes! The event’s inclusive approach closely reflects Allied Mobility and Mobility Solutions’ commitment to helping disabled people and those with mobility challenges to enjoy greater independence and access to everyday experiences.
From first-time participants to seasoned superheroes, the anniversary event showcased the power of inclusive sport to bring people together.
