Allied Vehicles Group has been nominated for the Motor Trader Industry Awards. The Awards recognise companies and individuals who can demonstrate excellence in their field, exceptional customer service and true innovation; they are also intended to recognise individuals and companies that ‘stand out from the crowd’.
Allied Vehicles is shortlisted for the Customer Care category. Speaking of the nomination, Head of Customer Experience, Jennifer Miller, said:
‘This is the first time we have been nominated and we are really pleased to have been shortlisted. Our main focus is on providing products and services to disabled people throughout the UK. This includes supplying wheelchair accessible cars, minibuses and taxis, together with mobility scooters, wheelchair and other daily living aids. We also offer a hire service for mobility cars and wheelchairs and a wide range of after-sales service and support.
‘Allied has had to develop rigorous customer care to meet the wide-ranging needs and expectations of its customers.’
Allied manufactures wheelchair accessible vehicles for customers across the UK and Europe, working with leading car makers. In fact, Allied Vehicles is the largest, British-owned car manufacturer and supplies some 6,000 vehicles each year. The company is the leading manufacturer and supplier of wheelchair accessible vehicles throughout the UK. It employs over 700 people, most of whom are based on its 32-acre North-Glasgow site.
Award winners will be announced at the Motor Trader Awards dinner, the biggest night in the retail motor industry calendar, which is being held this year at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, on 10 July.
